Pretty day for the ride. Temps in the 70's. Took some time to look around Chinook. Toured the Blaine Co. Museum and watched the production of the battle of the Bear Paw. It makes me sad to learn how the white settlers treated the natives. Sadder yet, how white washed and poorly history was taught about how the west was really won.

A new Wildlife Museum was opened in 2010, and it's a winner! I spoke to the Chamber Banquet in March of 2010 and was given a tour of what I called a "Dead Zoo". Knocked my socks off. Worth the drive..always.
